Several years ago I moved to a colder region of the country and quickly discovered that I wasn’t in Kansas anymore.  Instead of winter datytime temeratures that occassionally dipped in the 30′s F… I was now dealing with -11F for the highs.  Going outdoors was difficult, and trying to work in that type of environment was virtually impossible.  In those days, we closed up shop when temperatures dipped below zero, and we certainly didn’t bother trying to dig through the white stuff.

Then I discovered a remarkable product that would tip the odds in my favor by allowing me to thaw frozen ground, thaw frozen pipes, and melt ice & snow… regardles of outdoor wintertime temperatures.  It was called Powerblanket.  Once plugged in to any 20A wall outlet, Powerblanket quickly heated, delivering a barrier of warmth to pipes, engines, sidewalks, roofs, floors, thaw ground, and other trouble areas.
